Cisco ATA 190 VoIP Analog Telephone Adapter connects analog phones and fax machines to an IP-based network. It supports SIP protocol with two RJ-11 FXS ports, one 10/100 Ethernet LAN port, and a second switched port for additional connectivity.
The unit features standard voice codecs, including G.711, G.729a/G.729ab, iLBC, T38 Fax Relay support, echo cancellation algorithms for call clarity, and adaptive jitter buffering. Designed to work with Cisco Unified Communications solutions or third-party systems using open standards protocols like SIPv2 RFC3261 compliance ensures compatibility in various deployments supporting both narrowband audio calls as well as redundancy provisioning options via remote firmware upgrades through TR-069 & XML configuration file capabilities.
