The Cisco C9130AXE-B Indoor 802.11ax (Wi-Fi 6) External Antenna WAP is a high-performance wireless access point designed for indoor use. It operates on both the 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz frequency bands with a maximum data rate of up to 1.5 Gbps.
This access point supports Wi-Fi 6 technology, also known as 802.11ax, which enhances network efficiency and performance compared to previous generations of Wi-Fi standards. It can provide maximum data rates of up to 1.5 Gbps with dual-band capabilities operating at both the commonly used frequencies 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz.
Equipped with four external antenna ports and eight transmit and receive streams (8x8 MU-MIMO), this access point enables improved capacity by serving multiple clients simultaneously.
Its Orthogonal Frequency-Division Multiple Access (OFDMA) capability allows efficient spectrum utilization by dividing each channel into smaller sub-channels called Resource Units that are allocated based on client demands within short intervals—delivering better overall performance even in crowded environments.
