The Fortinet FG-601E Firewall offers a Stateful Throughput of 36 Gbps, IPS Throughput of 10 Gbps with an Enterprise Traffic Mix, Threat Protection Throughput of 7 Gbps based on the same mix, and NGFW Throughput rated at 9.5G Bps under similar conditions.
This firewall can handle up to eight million concurrent sessions and has an IPsec VPN throughput capability of up to 20 Gbps. It is equipped with ten RJ-45 ports for gigabit Ethernet connectivity and eight SFP+ ports for enhanced networking options, including two additional SFP+ ports that support speeds up to the standard rate supported by a dual-layer high-speed network card.
