The HPE J9142B 1GB BASE-BX-D is a single-strand fiber SFP transceiver with high-speed connectivity in network environments. It supports Gigabit speeds and operates using two different wavelengths: it transmits data at 1490nm and receives data at1310nm.

HPE J9142B: A small form-factor pluggable (SFP) GigabitBX (bi-directional) "downstream" transceiver that provides a full-duplex Gigabit solution up to 10 km on one strand of single-mode fiber. The J9142B connects to the J9143B "upstream" transceiver or to any IEEE standard 1000BASEBX10-U ("upstream") device.
