The HPE JG838A 5900CP-48XG-4QSFP+ is a high-performance switch designed for demanding network environments. With its switching capacity of 1280 Gbps and a forwarding rate of 952 MPPS, this switch can easily handle heavy data traffic.
Featuring an impressive MAC address table size of up to 288,000 entries, the JG838A allows for efficient management of large networks. The switch offers forty-eight ports supporting speeds up to 10GB SFP+, making it ideal for bandwidth-intensive applications such as video streaming or cloud computing.
Equipped with four additional ports that support speeds up to 40GB QSFP+, the JG838A provides flexible connectivity options and enables seamless integration into existing network infrastructures.
HPE JG838A: 48x SFP+ dual-personality ports; supports 1G/10G Ethernet and 4 Gbps/8 Gbps Fibre Channel 4 QSFP+ 40GbE ports. 2 power supply slots + 2 fan tray slots. Power supplies (JC680A, JC681A) and fan trays (JC682A, JC683A, JG552A, JG553A) are not included (ordered separately). This system requires at least one power supply and two same-direction airflow fan trays to function properly.
