The Cisco ME-3600X-24CX-M switch supports 16x 1Gb SFP, 8x 1Gb combo ports, and 4x 10Gb XFP uplinks. It provides a switching capacity of 44 Gbps with a forwarding rate of up to 65 Mpps. It is designed for Carrier Ethernet networks and includes MPLS support and advanced QoS features.
Combining multiple transport options allows flexible deployment in metro access networks. TDM circuit emulation enables legacy voice service integration through its built-in T1/E1 interfaces. Redundant power supply options enhance reliability, while comprehensive security policies protect data traffic from potential threats.
