The Cisco ONS-XC-10G-C transceiver is a Cisco XFP family of optical transceivers member. The XFP transceivers modules are slightly larger than the popular SFP and SFP+ transceivers.
It is a high-performance optical module for dense wavelength division multiplexing (DWDM) applications. It operates at a transmission wavelength of 1565nm over single-mode fiber (SMF). This hot-swappable, small form-factor pluggable device provides seamless connectivity and reliable performance in data center environments.
Equipped with digital optical monitoring (DOM), the ONS-XC-10G-C enables real-time monitoring of key parameters like temperature, transmit/receive power levels, and voltage to ensure optimal network operation.
