The Cisco WS-SUP720-3BXL Supervisor Engine delivers high-speed switching and routing for Catalyst 6500 and 7600 Series systems. It supports up to 400 million packets per second (Mpps) throughput with centralized forwarding architecture, making it suitable for large-scale deployments.
The module enables IPv4, IPv6, MPLS, QoS, multicast services, and Security features essential for traffic management. Supporting a maximum of one million routes in hardware allows scalable network expansion. Equipped with dual integrated supervisor engines, it enhances redundancy while supporting Cisco’s PFC3BXL policy feature card and accelerates packet processing capabilities.
